Bridget Christie is to film a pilot for Channel 4.

The Bridget Christie Television Programme will see the comedian presenting stand-up, monologues, sketches and reinvented archive.

Producers say: “At the tender age of 46, multi award-winning stand up Bridget Christie is making her much anticipated debut television show for Channel 4 Comedy.

The Bridget Christie Television Programme is a pilot that will see Bridget look at the state of the world in an innovative format that takes in stand-up, monologues, sketches and reinvented archive.

“The stand-up part of the show will be recorded in the round at the fantastic Questors Theatre in Ealing Broadway (which has London’s cheapest bar …) on Monday 23rd July 2018. There will be two performances – one at 7.00pm, the other at 9.00pm.”
